About RFAA

Who We Are

Roswell Fine Arts Alliance is an asset to its members and to the City of Roswell as a premier artists’ resource for the visual artists of Roswell and the adjacent North Metro communities. Roswell Fine Arts Alliance is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. If you would like to support the arts through RFAA, we welcome you to donate.

Our Story

The Roswell Fine Arts Alliance was created in 1971, with a handful of local artists meeting in a barn. That soon progressed to meetings in homes provided by committed members. RFAA now has a permanent home provided by the City of Roswell at Art Center East (ACE) in East Roswell Park. As a non-profit, RFAA continually expands its vision of encouraging artists and our community in their awareness of all that fine art has to offer.

Our Mission

To support our members by:

  • Providing our members social media access through our Facebook and Instagram presence

  • Increasing awareness of opportunities within our organization through frequent e-blast communications

  • Providing exhibition and competition opportunities

  • Providing opportunities for sales

  • Promoting education and personal creative growth through demonstrations and workshops

  • Encouraging young and emerging high school artists in pursuit of art as a future occupation or hobby

Our Activities

As a non-profit, RFAA supports the arts through education, shows & exhibits, and community involvement for members. Hosting receptions, presentations, various workshops, and new exhibits of members’ artwork which are open to the public.

There are 3 juried shows: People, Places & Things (open to neighboring art groups), Double Vision (with the Georgia Nature Photographers Association at the Chattahoochee Nature Center), and Genesis. A Taste for Art, our 4th major show, takes place each spring in addition to several exhibits at our gallery and external venues during the year. Continue to check the website for specific dates, locations and times.

The year is filled with monthly Members’ Meetings with presentations by noted artists and are open to guests, workshops, of which some may be open to the public, a plein air painters’ group, and other meetings and get-togethers for members.

Check for news of events on this website and on Facebook at Roswell Fine Arts Alliance and at Roswell Fine Arts Alliance: Always Art. As a member you would receive regular emails detailing current and upcoming events and other RFAA news.
